Smart City Institute of NOVUSENS was invited to the Smart Cities Panel to deliver a speech on “Common Mind” at the 17th “Academic Informatics” Conference that was held in Eskişehir Anadolu University on 5th of February, 2015.

Mrs. Benli, Co-Founder of NOVUSENS who assesed the situation in smart cities in Turkey – the definition of the concept, the challenges and project management approaches, highlighted the importance of developing integrated solutions by having collaboration with the Public Industry, Private Industry, Universities and NGOs.

The “Academic Informatics” Conference that was organized byInternet Technologies Association (INETD)was held between 31st of January and 6th of February, 2015 with the participation of more than 3500 attendees. The conference aimed to gather all the related experts and groups that work on Information Technologies to deliver information about IT infrastructure, IT usage, IT trainings and IT production; discuss and share their know-how and experiences and jointly developing new common policies.

The main theme of the Conference was declared as “Opennes”. “Open Community”, “Open Management”, “Open Learning”, “Open Systems”, “Open Sources Codes”, “Open Access”, “Open Softwares” and related subjects that were supported by IT, were discussed by the academicians and various different stakeholders. In addition to that, seperate events were organized in parallel in which call for papers were presented, coursed were delivered, focus seminars and workshops were performed.
