Policy Paper of G100 Smart and Sustainable Cities launched in COP28!
Kale Group shared its vision, approaches and initiatives on Smart and Sustainable Cities during COP28 on 6th of December, 2023 at the panel hosted by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Smart City Strategy of Türkiye titled "National Smart City Strategy of Türkiye and Smart Solutions: Combat Climate Change”.
Ms. Rana Birden, head of Corporate Communications of Kale Group first presented the “Canakkale on my Mind” Smart City Transformation Initiative and discussed the principles of this project with the participants.
Ms. Zeynep has stated that “Every one of our Policy Paper’s recommendations is a testament to the G100's commitment to pushing boundaries and advocating for policies that pave the way for an inclusive, sustainable future in alignment with the Agenda 2030. It is our hope that these insights light the way forward, inspiring collective action and forging a brighter future for cities around the world”.
The Policy Paper has been developed by Policy Paper Task Force Members (Country Chairs of the Wing) and the Wing members who has volunteered to provide contribution and support. The Paper has been coordinated by Novusens Smart City Institute. As Policy Paper development is a continuous process, further versions will be developed in the coming weeks and months.

Then she shared the Policy Paper of G100 Smart and Sustainable Cities Wing (Country Chairs Smart & Sustainable Wing - G100 | Group of 100 Global Women Leaders ) which is led by Ms. Zeynep Bodur Okyay who is President and CEO of Kale Group and the Global Chair of this Wing (https://lnkd.in/dN_k7Qt7).
