Search Conference on Smart City Index was held by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) and Istanbul IT and Smart City Technologies (ISBAK) on 18th of Feb, 2019 in Istanbul.
Experts from Government, Public Industry, NGOs and Universities attended to the search conference to study indicators of Smart City Index. The project aims to design a framework model that is able to monitor the competitiveness of Istanbul with other metropolitan cities of Turkey and metropolitan cities in other countries.
In the Smart City Index Model Design Project is being running by Istanbul University, City Policies Application and Research Center. The search conference was held relating to the project scope of 9 functional elements, that are Environment, Energy, Mobility, Safety, People, Economy, Governance, Living and ICT in which Novusens contributed to the Governance group study. It's being planned that The Smart City Index model will be designed after collecting and evaluating these data captured during the conference and results to be published accordingly.
