Lüleburgaz on bike: Cycling for a better city
The main outcome of the “CYCLING FOR A BETTER CITY LULEBURGAZ” Project that was funded by Creative Industries Fund of Netherlands, namely “Inclusive Bicycle Masterplan” has been published. This is a design guide handbook that consists of the investigation on how to activate the full potential of cycling for the improvement of various aspects of urban development. The project explores cycling as a catalyst for a change towards a more sustainable, healthy, vital, inclusive and democratic urban environment and society. The Inclusive Bicycle Master Plan hopes to be a model for the the mid-sized cities across Turkey.
The project that supports smart and sustainable mobility including a bicycle sharing pilot was run by the consortium of Sustainable Solutions from Netherlands, Artgineering from Belgium and Novusens Smart City Institute from Turkey.
