Partnership for Future of Smart Cities Project
The closing event of Partnership for Future of Smart Cities Project was held on 9th of January 2020 in Çanakkale with the signature of the Memorandum of Understanding between Çanakkale and Tarragona authorities. The project aimed to improve the collaboration between the Municipality of Çanakkale and the Municipality of Tarragona, to implement the Smart City Platform by referencing to the Tarragona case, and to develop long-term cooperation and design joint projects in order to carry forward the advanced smart city transformation of both cities. The project was awarded to the Municipality of Canakkale by the grant of "Town Twinning Action between Turkey and EU Grant Scheme (TTGS)” .
