UK-TURKEY Open Data and Smart Cities Project
The Covid19 presents an unprecedented challenge, threatening the lives and livelihoods of millions of people around the world. This shift into a New Normal has a great impact on each and every industry and require changing of habits for healthy living. In this sense, many cities around the world started to invest in DATA as most of the innovative products & services depend on OPEN DATA in order to improve the quality of living in the cities. NOVUSENS Big Data Institute prepared this Report (https://bit.ly/3cetT91) as part of the UK-Turkey Open Data and Smart Cities Project which is supported by UK Prosperity Fund Future Cities Program. The Project aimed to enable an environment for all interested parties to share know-how and experience on use of open data in smart cities and encourages collaborations among them. As part of the Project, an Open Data Virtual Platform was established Open Data Community TR (https://lnkd.in/dzfmT97) to enable sharing of knowledge & experience on Open Data in Smart Cities and providing collaboration opportunities.
