KICKED OFF “CYCLING FOR A BETTER CITY: LULEBURGAZ” PROJECT SUPPORTED BY CREATIVE INDUSTRIES FUND OF NETHERLANDS.
“CYCLING FOR A BETTER CITY: LULEBURGAZ” Project’s 2nd phase was kicked off in November, 2018. The project is implemented through a grant of the Creative Industries Funds of Netherlands in which Sustainable Solutions from Netherlands, Artgineering from Belgium and Novusens Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute from Turkey have established a consortium.
The project aims to produce an “Inclusive Bicycle Masterplan” as a guidebook. It will consists of the investigation on how to activate the full potential of cycling for the improvement of various aspects of urban development. The project explores cycling as a catalyst for a change towards a more sustainable, healthy, vital, inclusive and democratic urban environment and society.
The project will last 1 year and aims to be scalable to all the mid sized cities across Turkey.
